Well all good things must come to an end. We have had a lovely 4 1/2 days here at Vili Campground. I must say it is a delightful place to stop, very relaxed, the owner is very friendly and speaks English and it is well kept and clean.

We have mostly spent the time relaxing, reading, spent a bit of time on the internet, especially on Skype to see our family and the new baby.

Yesterday we did go for a bike ride from our Campsite to Kobarid, which we were told was about 10 kms. I don’t know if she meant there and back or just one way, but it was a very picturesque road through small villages and a bit up and down hill. It had been a while since we had been for a long bike ride and we were still getting used to the new bikes. So.. it was a bit of an effort and we had to stop on the way back for a dip in the cold river. Still it was good to get out and about and use the neglected muscles. Paying for it a bit today, but I keep telling myself it is good for me.

Today we head off again, we are going to have a look at the Tolmin Gorges and then head towards Bled. After that we plan to visit Ljubljana then head on down towards the coast and into Croatia. We’ll see, we could change our mind according to who gives us advice and how we feel at the time.
