Our trip resumes.

Four weeks ago we received the phone call that my father was very sick and that we should return to Australia. When we did return my father was in hospital and we able to say our goodbyes before he passed away. Since then we have had the funeral and sorted most of my father’s affairs.  Last friday we booked our tickets and sorted out our travel insurance. A big thanks goes to Chris at the Flight Centre Burnside for all his assistance. He gave us cookies and coffee and an hour and a half later we had all the flights booked and the insurance sorted.

Tomorrow we fly out at 11.00 and get to  Holland on Monday morning early. Our plan is to drive to the north of Greece and meet up with Clyde and Anne to resume our trip through Turkey etc.

We are hoping that our future posts will be of travels and fun and sun and having a good time!!!
