Here we go again

Well we have taken the plunge and booked our trip for 2014. With the early bird flights out we went  to the Flight Centre Burnside to visit our regular travel agent Chris who booked our flights and included a day trip in Florence and a $50 voucher each. Each year we get nervous when deciding to book our trip and then relief when it is done and dusted.

We will be leaving Adelaide on the 1st of April 2014 and have planned to do a 6 month trip. Our first trip was 7 months and we were able to take things easy. The last trips have been three months and we have been feeling a little rushed. This will be trip number 6 which seems a bit unreal that we are still able to travel in our motorhome and explore Europe the way we do.

This trip we plan to spend some time in Germany along the romantic road before crossing the border into Italy, travelling down through Tuscany, Umbria and down to Sicily. We then will cross by ferry from south Italy to Greece and are keen to spend about 5 weeks there. Our return trip through eastern Europe we still have to plan and then hope to travel back  across Europe spending about a month in France before returning to Holland.

We have less than 6 months before we leave and we plan to keep ourselves busy. Jenny has returned to study and I am busy with work. We will keep the blog up to date every couple of months until we set off.
