Staying with Martin
Problem with viewing.
The last post that I uploaded caused a few comments mainly with the subscriptions. The photos were very large and the writing very small and went across the screen. If you subscribe and have trouble with the look of the post can I suggest that you go to the site http://travelbunyip.com and click on our last post. It should look better. When I have time I will see what the matter is and try and fix it.
Back in the Netherlands
It has been nearly two years and we are back in the Netherlands. After an uneventful flight we arrived in Amsterdam at 1.00pm. Martin and Ewoud (my cousins) picked us up at the airport and drove us back to s’Gravendeel to be reunited with our beloved motorhome “the Bunyip”. We spent a few hours sorting our stuff but jetlag overcame us and we were in bed before 8.00.

Dordrecht
We spent the morning sorting “stuff” for going on our trip. Not very exciting so we decided to take a break and go into Dordrecht. It is the city that I was born in and also market day. Our mission was to get a SIM card for our phones with some data for our trip and also to have some of the local food. On both counts we were successful.

Nearly ready and a few frustrations.
In the a afternoon we have nearly finished packing and ready to go. Some things have not gone to plan. I did not bring a computer this trip and will be doing everything on a tablet. That sounded all good until the battery did some strange thing and went flat in record time. It did not want to fire up until I put some charge in it. Now it’s working fine. The camera I charged fully before we left was totally flat when I tried to use it, very strange. My credit travel card also did not want to work on the pin number that I had saved. Going on the internet it told me I was using the wrong pin number. The next thing to go wrong was that I am sure that I left the Tom Tom at Martin’s the last time we were there. But after an extensive search it is nowhere to be found. We will have to rely on our tablet for navigation. A lot of strange things all happening at once.
Martin has moved house.
Since we were here last Martin has moved house. A nice house in a very quiet part of s’Gravendeel. It’s only about 1.4 kilometers from his old house. Below is a photo of the view from his back window. Tomorrow we head of to visit our friends in Winkel, north of Amsterdam.
