We had an early start to the day and drove to Huelgoat. Known for its grottos and large boulders. Situated on a pretty lake we parked up and went for a walk, unfortunately rain had settled in and our walk was a short one as our path had turned to mud and the rocks very slippery.
Morlaix - French town with a difference
This town was different, as it has an Aqueduct going through the middle and a harbour at the end. The place also had some excellent street murals. Driving in we noticed that the streets were quiet, and the shops were not open, another French public holiday. Fortunately there were some restaurants still trading and it would be “moules and frites” for lunch.
Below are some of the street art murals we saw in the town
Door of the day
Our spot for the night was a small car park about 100 metres from the sea.
The tides in some places are very big. When we arrived we could walk way out from the concrete ramp. later in the day the water was right up to the ramp.
