We have just spent the most enjoyable evening and day with Carlo & Jeanne, a couple we met in Italy near Sorrento. We were parked next to them in the Sienno Camping ground and they were very warm and friendly, inviting us to drink with them and sharing some chat around their table at night. When we left they invited us to come to Belgium to drink and eat Belgium beer and food. Carlo spent the afternoon and evening educating Ewout on the different beers and Jeanne made a lovely dinner for us, so we had a good time with them and ate far too much. Still as he said it is not every day we are in Belgium. Problem is that has been the excuse far too much everywhere we go.

I do hope we get to visit them again when we get to Europe as we had a lovely time there.

We have now driven across Belgium to the east, making our way to Germany where we will spend a few days exploring some of the areas around Cologne. We will not venture into Cologne or the industrial zone but spend some time in Nature areas that are to the east of Cologn
