Seventeen Weeks to go
It is about seventeen weeks until we take off for our next trip to Europe [but who’s counting??]. Jenny has been busy studying and will finish her Aged Care Course in January, I have been busy doing security work at the new Adelaide Oval and getting plenty of hours. The oval will have it’s official launch on the 22nd of March [my birthday] and they have the Rolling Stones coming out to give a concert. I am hoping for a good position when I work there that night.
Our plans for the coming trip are getting sorted and we have made a tentative itinerary of where we will be planning to go. This may all change as we go along. We will be starting in Holland as our motorhome lives there and visiting with some family for a few days. From there we hope to travel through Germany, Austria and into Italy where we want to spend a few weeks. From Italy across to Greece again a few weeks there and onto Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary. We want to spend some time in France so we will be travelling from Hungary across Germany and into France. Back through Belgium and into Holland again. We leave on the 1st of April and the trip will take 6 months.
The map will give you a bit of a picture of where we hope to go. Some other good news is that our travelling friends Clyde and Anna who we have travelled with in Morocco 2011 and Turkey 2013 will be joining us as we travel through Italy. We will meet up in Florence and go through to Italy, they will then head off across to Croatia while we go to Greece.
